Hi Jon,
First I would like to say well done...this is a good basic site.
It is easy on the eye and even easier to navigate.
I have got a couple of mates that are mechanics who were, up to very recently, massive technophobes.
I don't know if you know many mechanics, but in my experience most of them have never switched on a PC.
I'll make a disclaimer here....I am not saying all mechanics are like this, but there is a fair few out there that are just coming into the 21st century and are just only now getting to grips with PC's and I can safely say that this site would be a doddle for anyone to use.
Even a PC shy mechanic.
I don't know if that was the reason for the design, but praise is indeed due.
The last thing you needed was a mega site with a multitude of flash movies and animations, which would have only been a detriment to this type of site.
"It does exactly what it say's on the tin"
If anything, the site reminds me of an old Haynes manual....nice touch.
I just wanted to ask if you were that serious about obtaining trade customers?
As there is only one single link on the whole site for this. This is located at the bottom of the home page in the form of a text link.
Maybe a tab would make you look a bit more serious about your trade customers.
As far as I can see there are no spelling or grammatical errors (queue the English teachers among us to comment).
The design is simple and exactly right for the sites purpose, not to mention that this site will load up in a matter of seconds, even on a dial-up connection.
(No laughing, a mate of mine has just upgraded to broadband as he lives out in the sticks, dial-up is still out there).
Well done Jon, one to be proud of.
I would give this site a rating, but people would get the wrong idea for me giving it such a high mark as it is a simple site, but it is supposed to be so.....top marks.
Tony...

Reason: Replaced the word 's******ing' with the word 'laughing', as the forum would not allow the word.
