Website Review and Suggestions

I have these two domains/one websites and would love to obtain the views of my fellow web masters.

FULL LAUNCH IS DUE BY THIS WEEKEND.

Both sites have the same surfing/searching options, but only the .com version permits you to post anything.

And yes, I am keen to see if Webmaster-talk would sell advertising space in their website for me to list this in.

Umm, that is a pretty basic design and I can't see where you are going with it. Needs to be reallyslick to gain attention and get webmasters interested.

Great idea though.. Does require a LOT of marketing though.
I'd have a one click upload feature and auto-thumbnailing once the user creates a profile. Then have a featured website section at the top which people pay $5 a month for.

Ok, two of the main areas are blocked due to them not being 100% tested.

All the pages are there, I just want to test the paypal checkout a few times first.

Oh PS. I have marked down the 20th as the full opening day.

There are plans to market the thing via Sedo, Google Adsense, Ebay and Facebook.

Other ideas may also be looked into.

Anyway...Why the massive use of tables?

Plus no style at all....very basic

Idea is good...design is....well...you know

I don't think that it is very good. The layout is poor and the concept is obliterated by that.

Would people like to say what is poor about the style. Is there any chance it may grow on you.

I am starting to go away from the use of tables, more towards div tags for the use with the links.

In my view, the colors may need to be changed to help it look better, but other than that I feel the new style of my website would suit a lot, and grow on many others.

I have already been advertising in Facebook for a few days, got 50 visits with around $10 worth of ads. This is all I can pay for so far.

The whole thing should be open by the weekend.

OK IT IS NOW OPEN.

You can now surf the database listings, and you can now also place a post.

The only thing remaining is an A-Z (site map style) area, which is what the right most link is reserved to become.

Humm,
while the idea is ok, The site itself looks very early 90's

It needs to be web2.0'd up a bit. ( a lot )

Oh and using the marquee is a big no no no no no no.

I was not able to tell exactly what the site is offering. It seemed like too much work to click around and figure it out. I think it needs something to grab attention and create a desire to stick around and check things out.

I understand that people would need to change to the new style of the website.

**The heading up the top clearly states its purpose.
**There are four buttons on the home page, clearly marked for surfers, new members, and help. The fourth button is currently marked out as I am still working on an a-z site map type of feature.

It is a website, in which most of its features would grow on people over time.
