Website Review and Suggestions

Hi guys,

Can someone review this for me:

Its a site where you can have one of those "click here to talk to us" buttons on your website.
It has FREE offline messaging system and SMS alerts for new chat requests plus loads of other crap.

Anyway..
Im interested in you opinions around:

- The look ( of the main homepage )
- The look and functions of the main ( admin section ) - Login using, username:guest password:guest

( oh and if you have a blog and fancy reviewing it, That would be cool. Ill even put a "as reviewed by :.... on the main page "

My honest feedback.

Everything is lost in white background. May be page background should be darker to send everyones attention to the center of the page where the main content is. Right now I have to search for it.

I am assuming your main goal would be for people to register. There is no eye grabbing thing that tells me about the service and asks me to register.

I would change the How it Works to be more catchy, may be do a video in How it Works. And then highlight the sign in box to get more registrations.

What do you mean by you have to search? and by Everything is lost? ( So i can fix it )
One of my goals is to as you said, have a darker background with faded edges into the main center of the page.

Any more input would be great.

What do you think about the admin section? if you logged in that is.

I quite like it, but as a person representing a company who might well look for a service like yours, there is too much going on in the home page. Break down the services a bit more and make it a bit clearer for us idiots.

I think it all looks very nice, polished and neat but unfortunately there is too much going on; kind of like when you have a desire for a chocolate bar but when you enter the shop there is so much that you just don't know what you want and the desire is now has become a chore; get it and get out..

You should chop down your homepage into 3 additional pages. Put your most important pitch on the homepage and if people are interested, they will click on the necessary links to research more on it.

But in terms of design it looks good. You're using a small size font so I would probably suggest a tahoma/verdana for a sharper look as your standard font.

I actually don't think it is all that bad...I think the overall look of the page is nice and clean. I understand why a previous reply said that you can kind of get lost in the white background, it does all blend together a bit, but I personally tend to like that kind of style. As for getting people to sign up...not sure if it is eye catching enough. Overall, I really like it though

On the subject on the cluttered look.

Does anyone know what is "causing the clutter"
I can see its cluttered, but im not sure what to move, remove, etc to get rid of the clutter.

Any thoughts?

Nice color scheme and well laid out although i find the contrast of the text to need a little tweaking.

The style looks very nicely done.

However, too many things are clustered together too closely and my eyes catch too many points at once. I think it would be better if there was some breathing space between the elements.

Anyway,

Ive added some more spacing ( apparently it it was quite cluttered )

And ive changed a few things about.

Whats your thoughts on this? More importantly, Can you tell what it is that my site has to offer / sell ?
