The point is that my father is a private detective and he's got an access to various databases and his brother (my uncle) is a lawyer and he had a cases in his practice when his clients submitted claims with his help in order to remove their private information from different databases like former employers or other businesses since these establishments have no right to store private information by law and this is really not safe. I think it's a common case in the US when scammers get someone's senstitive information, get loans and cash with its help. It's a well-known fact that identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the US.
That's why I come to an idea to make a service that:
1. absolutely for free submits an inquiry to different databases regarding the person's Social Security Number;
2. If the SSN is there, my uncle will send the claims with the requirement to remove such a piece of information. Basically this is a regular document and I think we won't charge a lot of money for this, I'm thinking about $50 or so.
What do you think? Will such a service work and will there be a demand?
To test it I've already done this favour to my friends and relatives and deleted their SSNs were from some databases.
Please advice about the web-site as well.
