Website Review and Suggestions

It's my hobby robotics website, which I'm developing in my free time. It's not finished yet and there isn't a whole lot of content.

I'd appreciate some suggestions which might make the website look better, or just whatever critique you might have.

Not knowing a thing about your hobby I can obviously make no comment on the content, but would say that I like the look of your site.

Hi

The readability of your website is fine. You have equal padding and paragraphs - nothing too overwhelming or simple.

I'd change the font to Verdana.

I think there is too much black emptiness at the top - you need to play around with the header.

Thanks for you comments! I'm trying to get someone to design a nice header for me, as I'm not good with graphics.. And I'll try changing the font

I noticed that you actually have a bit of content but very little of it can be seen from the front page. Maybe add some small links on the side to the various projects and tutorials you've spent time on. Other than that, cool looking robot!!

I do not like the ads above the page fold. To me, they distract the user from the site, whether or not the ads are relative. I recommend something different, change the layout a bit to accommodate for the amount of ads you want to use.

It seems you know enough to be using Google Analytics, which is why I'm wondering why your head is blank. Throw some flash into that css you have there!

No sitemap, although you're 404 page is somewhat humorous.

Hmmm, to be honest I don't like most of it. The title, layout, color scheme, and logo. Sorry I just feel like if you made in 1995 it would look the same as now. I guess it feels generic and amateurish.

I would for fun get a company to make the logo, something really catchy.

Also try templates to get started on the design or work more with back ground images in boxes.

Your site is nice and clean, but nothing special. But overall, it's a good site
