Website Review and Suggestions

Hello,

I created a site a while back this spring when I hadn't been designing websites for a long time. The site is up and running, and works fine, but there are a lot of structural issues that could be improved on.

Now, I have been instructed to create the site in Russian for a different region.

I now see some things that can definitely be used this time around that will make things more valid and work much smoother - but I have just one question I can't decide on how to excute.

The four icons at the bottom were created using a table and set to an id of "orange" for the text. I think this is a little sloppy way to do things though, would you reccomend that I make these as list items where display:block, or create them in separate ids for "marine" "land" "gxt" etc...?

I am making the site in a different format now including other things I am switching around, but was just wondering about this particular issue.

I am open to any suggestions really. Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to any replies.

If I were going to do that, I would use a list for that. Use display:block on the <a> so that the entire area works as a link, and adjust the line-height and size on the list to get the size you want.

Also, one other thing I was interested in doing to make things a little more professional looking would be to involve Shadowbox. I have used this function in the past, but I can't seem to get it to work for me this time.

I have a lot of javascript going on before the header section of the page, is there a chance that they could be interfering with eachother which is why is doesn't work so well?
