well it is too dark... and the sliding photos are too big, more than half of the page and the menu could be on top of the photos.

Everything looks really good in my opinion. I would actually capitalize "The adventure of a lifetime" though.

The colors combination and Graphics outlet is not good. You need to adjust the space of your site.

I found the site very slow to load, even just from section to section. I didnt mind that its white text on the black, it makes the text very crisp.
I dont like how the menu falls over the text, thats just a pet hate of mine

great site, wish you all the best, loaded okay on my machine but then I have 20Mb broadband. Header graphic is just fantastic. Just make sure you have the "adventure of a lifetime" as a <h1>adventure of a lifetime</h1> tag. Also I'd consider duplicating the site with a something like "adventureofalifetime.com" as people may search on this and not "leehughes" e.g. unless you are already a well known name people won't search on your name alone, focus on using the "adventure of a lifetime" tag to get your name known. Should you want someone to update the site / add to it during your travels, given the charity you are doing this for I would offer my services for free. Please PM me if this is of interest. I also have my own server which you would be welcome to host any duplicate site on. My friend used to organise a London to Stonehenge cycle for action aid.
Lastly add some adsense to the site as if this takes off and you start getting a large number of hits then this will also bring in the money.

Great advice about doubling the website int adventureofalifetime.com

Am not sure how adworks works and I didn't wanna clutter up my site really so I stayed away from it. I doubt that I will get that any hits anyway.

Many thanks for your help to update it.. I moved to wordpress to be able to update from the road, I will also be taking my laptop with me anyway but thanks for the offer

I just got a email from Action Aid yesterday saying they will give me full international support which is very exciting

Make the navigation bar left aligned, it will look much better.
