Website Review and Suggestions

We have a fitness website where the majority of traffic comes from Google Adwords. I would appreciate anyone taking a look at the site and letting me know what they think. Suggestions for design? SEO? Etc. As much information as you want to give would really be appreciated!

The domain is a bit too long. Is the design custom or scraped?
You might want to add a logo of yours. Your title is full of keywords which is good.
You need to add meta keywords as it's missing on your site.

I would drop the intro music/audio - lots of ppl find that very annoying. if you drop the audio, and make it a short 1 minute video in the top right of the page - you might get a lot more click throughs.

my eyes are immediately drawn to the words "the biggest loser" and the winner's names - i thought this had something to do with the tv show.

your home page should immediately inform people with very little text:

1. who you are
2. what you do.

I did not find that immediately clear. and then being bombarded by a lot of text i really didn't feel like reading....need to shorten your copy big time.

I like the site. Has fresh, blue colors.

I like the image of the beach runner. Establishes a good mood, and ocean/blue is good as a color theme.

Only thing I didn't like that much were the before/after shots. They were too small and didn't look professionally photographed.

First, I like the site, informative, fresh and attractive, But the video as well the music it annoys me. Maybe you can put it in another page.

1.The first thing my eyes went to was the weird broken disc looking thing above "Live in fitness enterprise"

I would change or get rid of that first it doesnt look good.

2. two many types of fonts - I think they say more than 2 makes it look really messy

3. at the bottom near "massage" it has a gradient going upwards and its not fitting, idk if it was an accident?

other than that and the "biggest loser thing"
i like the colors and the pic you picked for the middle looks nice, very fitting, and has a clear message

I agree that the domain is too long for someone to remember it. On the lighter side, I think the website looks professional. I am a bit bothered with the audio (it is not really needed for a fitness site).

I suggest you use Verdana as your font style as it is the standard font for the Web. Also, rather than putting all the information in the page why don't you use the javascript or any standard web code that when someone hovers the cursor in the text the information will then appear (this will definitely save the visitor's time in scrolling down to read the information)

looks good, all flows. that pic of girl on the beach is huge, not sure if you need it that large. good overall though.

Appearance: The site has a “dark” feel to it kind of like working out in a poorly lit gym. The background(s) on a lot of the pages are very similar so you’re not seeing a good division of the information on the page.

Functionality: Links work and load time is decent. The navigation menu is quirky for me but that could be due to IE6. Sometimes the menu loads completely, other times it loses an option or two.

Overall & Content: I don’t think the appearance matches the purpose of the site. The page feels like a dungeon and I’m not sure that’s what you want to promote a healthy lifestyle. There is lots of information on this site and lots of pictures. I think it could be organized better.

Technical: No obvious grammar problems or spelling errors.

-I don't really like the logo other then the energy look to it i dont see what it has to do with anything, its not memorable and I wouldn't associate it with a fitness company.

-"LIVE IN FITNESS ENTERPRISE" is hard to read, very bad text to use.

-The site would prob have a better feel with a white background.

-The gradient stops and repeats after "Coaching Team Meetings:.."

-The Biggest loser banner on top, I would try and fit it in somewhere else on the site. When I first opened the page I didn't know if you are The Biggest Loser or Live In Fitness Enterprise.

Overall is good, light color to make people feel more comfortable..
But i think, it's better without that annoying music and video.

Honesty, you should change the bottom half part of your page. It seems like everything is cluttered at the bottom. Maybe you can have navigation bars at both sides. And put the links there.

i dont like the header, looks messy and cheap. the rest of the layout is ok but it could do with some tweaks here and there.

Thanks guys. We are working on many issues you brought up. I do appreciate them.

We have also purchased http://liveinfitness.com We will move our site over to this name. It was not available when we built the site but we just acquired it.

What is the best way to move the site over without loosing rankings, listings, etc. It is the same design and code. I was told that Google would penalize us if we had duplicate sites and we don't want that to happen. What is the best way to go about this?

Well I have supplement site and I think I worked my butt of to make it, I look at yours and Im Like holy frick, I feel like a 2 year old. Great clarity, good background music. I love the colours and layout. My only critique would be, your isolating the younger males. But, if thats not your clientel, your doing an amazing job.
