Website Review and Suggestions

Ok, after much procrastination, i have finally re-designed http://Ionisis.com

I wanted to keep a 'dark-technology' feel to it, and be much 'different' from the norm, while still remaining clean, clear, attractive, and easy to navigate.

You should add some kind of image with your heading to make it look unique.
Also, the image background of the building doesn't really fit so I'd suggest removing it.

What do you mean by adding an image to the heading? I already have 2 of them: the site name, and the site logo?

I agree somewhat, and have been keeping my options and my eyes open for a more fitting background....

Interesting website, the video is good, good music, but not interesting to me, I coudnt watch it, how much time is the average visitor spending on that page I wonder, I would check that out.

Your navigation is not the norm, what I thought was a top navigation bar doesnt work, You need to work on your navigation, the designs doesn't make obvious sense are Web Design | Google SEO | Information Systems | SaaS | IT Services going to be hyperlinked at some point?

The down and up arrows at the top of the page changed the color of the background, that wasnt really what I was looking for I was hoping to find navigation.

It needs more work I think, its not a bad looking site, but it just looks like it lacks website content. There seems to have been many hours spent on the video and the website has been neglected or something, to me anyhow.

Quite the inverse. The video took about 2 hours. The design took about 2 years, to get where it's at. I will be reversing the way that the navigation works so that the menu is open by default. That top area is just a title bar. I still have to make more content, as i have only started that....

This is one of the best designed websites that I have seen. Very few elements are used for the design, but it is innovative.

To be honest the design isn't appealing to me at all. The first thing I notice is the title which really looks unprofessional. The red glow is a bit much. I like the logo, but it really doesn't fit the layout.
If you scripted the website then you no doubt have true skills. I think you need to go with a more professional look.
