Designer tagging a website is on the one-hand helpful for getting your name out there, but it isn't the professional way. The top web designers don't label their products, just as you wouldn't find Designed by MFI all over the floor in your friend's kitchen, or Sold by DFS all over the arm of your sofa.
The design is problematic to the content it holds. Firstly, the introduction is justified, which causes an increase in the time it takes to read, since the eyes have to jump more and catches more irrelevant information. Furthermore, the extensive use of cursive is inappropriate for conveying information on a website, especially when there is such little contrast between the text and the background. There is also a lack of consistency between font family, size, and colour between the pages.
Using unrefined GIF for gradients is problematic as the quality looks circa '90s. When the big companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google move onto using better quality graphics it's a sure sign that it's safe to move on too. Use PNG for the graphics.
Good luck with your client's website.
