Very nice and straightforward layout - I think it will work well with your target "simple minded" demographic.

But the real challenge is drawing traffic. Ads in a local paper might help...

I had a terrible connection so I did not sell a lot of the site but I liked the look of what I saw.

The ease of registeration and posting, which I did not see, will be a major factor in whether or not succeeds with simple folks. The less information you force them to provide, the happier most of them will be.
