Hey guys!

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything here, but the rise of Social Media has kind of sucked up all my on line socializing time. At x2interactive.gr we have been working hard all this time, non-stop and have come up with some new sites. Today, I would like your opinion on this website www.riginosyachts.com.

Riginos Yachts is a website about a company that Deals and Charters Yachts, mainly in the Greek and Mediterranean waters. We have tried to keep everything as solid and minimalistic as possible, trying to emphasize on the photos, letting the content speak for it self. We have used a mixture of flash and XHTML to create the UX you are seeing. Our favorite part of the website is the Dealerships, once you have navigated to a yachts page.

Anyway, I will not bore you with chit chat. Click on www.riginosyachts.com and tell us what you think.

Cheers!

Well done, nice color selection and clean, simple layout with a good use of images. Only thing that bothers me is how badly your "website by" stamp stands out.

Thanks for the comments mate. I never thought that our logo stands out so much at the bottom, but then again I see our logo every day . Thanks for pointing it out

Interesting ... I got this -
Quote:
The website has detected that you are using IE6. x2interactive web agency strongly recommends you update to a newer browser in order to view and experience the full technology of this website.
even though I'm using IE8. I do love this site ... could spend hours here with no problem. I'm on a fairly fast computer here, so I'm guessing someone on a DSL connection might be waiting for some downloads.

Steve-Hostirian Did the IE 6.0 script pop out on your IE 8.0? Hmmm, we should have a look at that then! Thanks

Im using IE8 and I see nothing except for the blue top and the 3 pictures in the bottom. No links works. When I move my mouse over the the links the cursor stays an arrow, it doesnt turn into a hand. Its the same for both top-links and the links in the bottom.

In Firefox I have no problems, and I think it looks great.

Overall I think it looks good... but bear in mind for devices like the iphone that don't have flash installed, they won't be able to see much (if any) of your site...

Yeah, look awesome. Good job on this one, not a big fan of flash since it takes a bit of load time, but looks great.

petersego thanks for pointing out that bug. The reason this was caused was because we forgot to add the "flash update" function for IE on the home page. If you install the latest flash player on your IE it will work fine. We are currently fixing this.

It looks great, but it is incredibly slow. I would recommend reducing the file sizes.

I was really impressed, brilliant image quality and great photos in general, this makes my first website look very amateurish by comparison, then again i built mine on templates and have no time to build one from scratch, i am too novice so yes, i am blown away by this, terrific job but i agree, the logo needs to stand out but hey, i don't even have a logo so that's a small thing, so in short, fantastic.

Simple, yet effective. It took a while to load (might be the server?) but it seems very to the point.
