Very unique website, I like it. But the one thing that kinda sticks out to me is the copyright, I would move it. And on your contact page under online form, the Title, Full Name, & Email, Telephone don't line up and are touching eachother.
But over all I like the site.

*note- i'm using IE8

ditto on the copyright section.

regarding the contact form, i feel it should be more uniform. meaning, if you have the label to the left of the input/textarea, they should all be to the left. same if you have the label above the input/textarea. it just makes it look more uniform.

there appears to be issues with the wood background tile seams. it looks a bit broken around the navigation, logo, and view work/contact me links.

overall i like the design, though the wood background is really overdone, imho. a lot of other designers have the same concept.

is that the 'advent' font? works well.

Great design concept. Two things though:

The wood in the header images don't quite line up with the wood in the background.

I would end the paper at the bottom of the page and leave an inch or half-inch of wood background underneath.

Very nice.
Well done.

However,, Is it just me or around your logo the background image and the floor boards dont seem to line up / look misaligned?

Maybe its just me.

Overall it's really nice - I like it a lot. It flows well and great choice of colors. I ditto the comments above and will add that maybe you should warn people there will be sound on your pages, and/or give an option on the home page to turn the sound off as they navigate through. Just an idea as you never know where some people are when they are surfing the net!

It looks great, the only problem is the not so seamless background, though it only shows up right behind the navigation.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've made some amendments to the homepage layout and have also got rid of the sound (I thought I had removed it!) Just need to fix the background. I have found that it is on certain screen sizes/resolutions.

typo "good sence of humour"

the wood theme isn't unique by any means but it's well done

layout falls apart (text is hidden) when text size is increased two notches

what's with using this for spacing ?

your copyright falls behind the content div in firefox on windows

you certainly have a flair for design just need a few little tweaks on the site

I liked very much your site. There is a great visual and a good navigation.
The background is very nice, I been seeing the wood background a few times this last days and it nice.

Nice design, looks good. Only thing I see that looks out of place, is on your contact page http://www.vkw91.co.uk/contact.php it says "online form" at the top...just seems kind of out of place to me...maybe remove it..?

The background is really choppy especially around your logo, and to be honest the wood does not go that well with the site.

The white background makes it look 100 times better, i would go with that but in the end it is your choice.
