I'm sorry, but it feels like a Facebook rip. As far as originality goes, I can't say it holds much. The concept of a support site for mental disabilities is fantastic, without doubt, but the function of the site doesn't seem to even meet that purpose.

You need more. You need resources beyond Wikipedia, something more reliable. You need more interaction beyond profiles and user created groups. Online meetings, live support groups, etcetera. Keep going with this, but make it into a real social networking site. Not like Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook (as great as they may be). Also, use your own design and code. Make it truly yours.

I personally think it looks good, it does not look that much like facebook to me, usually people joins social networking sites because its either popular or because of the theme of the site. and i think your site looks fine the way it is. good job on it.

First impression is that the site is ripping off facebook. But thats fine because most people use facebook, which means they will also know how to use this site. Thats if keeps people from guessing what to do next. I'm not a big fan of the greyed out people on the right hand site. I would encourage you to replace it with an action shot of people smiling or something like that because it would actually add to the site rather than subtrack.
