Website Review and Suggestions

Hello,

Just submitting my website for review.

www.englishmeet.com

It's a side project website that will later be optimized for emonetization

. Please let me know what you think of the layout and ease of use.

Whatever feedback you got for me is great and appreciated.

It isn't completely finished yet as the design and coding needs to be tweaked but that's why I thought I would ask to get your opinions while I am working on that. Thanks

I think your website looks great and it is a cool idea the only problem with the site that i can see is the bottom right above the footer it is messed up a little, other than that it looks good.

I think it looks nice and did not see the problem mentioned above.

I really don't prefer sites where the header takes up half the page so that would be a negative in my opinion. That would not stop me from visiting if I wanted something on your site.

Thanks again for the feedback. I suppose the header is suppose to be more of an introduction to the page.

@Knight 13 - can you explain? which browser are you using?

The design is not messed up it is the gray patch of color on the left, right above the footer, when i look at your site everything looks good then when i get to that gray patch on the bottom it looks weird because it looks like something should be their.

If i were you i would change the gray patch to the light blue that is next to it.

sorry i did not explain myself better the first time.

@Knight13, thanks I see it... it's because a white space was suppose to be underneath and give off the impression of a shadow.

@moonshaneisle - Thanks for the compliment, I find there is too much separation in social networks between the west and china... example Twitter, Youtube, Facebook are all blocked in China... they have their own versions. This causes huge separation in communications, I hope to help get around this.
