Website Review and Suggestions

We are playing around with some design ideas for our website www.skysa.com

What do you think about the interactive background when you move your mouse? It is layered so that the clouds and stars move at differant rates.

Skysa is a service that allows anyone to add a free footer App bar to their website and blog. The App bar features apps like a chat, twitter, commenting with stats, and so on.

I think your background is really cool, a lot of people will probably not like that for whatever reason but i think it is slick, and the design of your site is nice also, good job on it.

I don't like the menu - it's to simple and it's a little to hard for me to read it.
Forum section also doesn't look good: violet is to dark.

Background looks nice

i like the color combination..but i like the moving background on the header the most.

As said before a bit basic but I'm sorry I like that. Too many people have all singing and all dancing sites with as much effects and fonts added that they just put me off. I like your simple approach.

The background with the clouds was just enough to make up for the basic layout and i will def be looking into your idea a bit more as I have my own site I'm trying to develop.

what I like about your website is that you know what it talks about right from the gecko ... too many people are looking to make awesome special effects but I think it's worthless because once the "eye catching" as been done , if your product is garbage , you won't have returning visitors ... it's better to think about the benefits first and features second ... your website is nice in that regard and I even joined up I will put your footer bar on my upcoming website !

Love the product and the site - it's really clear except....
I'm not a fan of the moving background i'm afraid, i found it distracting. I also think the menu could be a bit more prominent as it's a little faint.

completely agree. I also really like it but for some reason lots of people don't like backgrounds like that. To each his own.... Nice job.

yea i like the moving background (clouds in the sky) funking awesome, but i bet you didnt take into account slow computers cuz that thing is slow if you understand where im comming from. but the website is a good work and the idea. peace
