Website Review and Suggestions

Hi Everyone
Have to say really appreciate your feedback, I have made a website that I am looking to improve and need some help.
it is www.infoforyou.com.au I used A4Deskpro to create it and am also looking at putting a coverpage on it, but am unsure as to how I can do this.

I have been told that I need to make it similar to http://www.disability.wa.gov.au/index.html but I am unsure as to how to do this.

If you can please have a look at what I have already done and let me know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated.

What they presumably want is for you to write content with links that in short describes what each of their services is about. I think that is fairly easy to do, however if I were in your shoes I would I ask them to write that content them self, and send to you.

That said I think your site needs a lot of work.
- One can not read the text in the triangles and is a part of a flash
- Google search does not do well with flash, I would turn off flash
- Besides the triangles has jagged edges
- I would do more with the top (title, and where is their logo?)
- The menu doesnt look good design-wise
- Content is spartanic, someone really have write some serious content
- Bad font, not good for reading
- Whats the links for? Everybody knows these search engines
- Who is the target group? I dont understand this - it should be absolutely clear to anyone
- All in all, the site lacks design, a strong concept and great content

Ahh wondered why google wasn't picking it up.
Well its more something I have done myself as a sort of hobbie thing, the idea is then to use the information to then put into a sort of booklet.
The website can then be used for people and organisations who can help refer themselves or others onto services that can help them.

Cheers on the information on flash, I will have to try to find another program to use.
I don't have a logo yet I haven't put one together or gotten it organised.

Hmm any idea on any programs to use instead can I ask?

Content is consider as king and right now your website is missing the king point. Moreover there is more work require on your title.
Kindly make it colorful by adding some images in it as well

Oww!! it's all flash.. I don't like flash sites.. hehe!

Try working on your layout first, change your header logo and format of your header text.

Hello,
Honestly saying I cannot understand the theme of your site.The text on the triangle cannot be read. Please avoid flash as it is taking some page loading time.I also did not like the bright color drop downs.
Take your time and make your site perfect.

WHY OH WHY would you have an "information site" created all in Flash???????

It is impossible to get information from an all flash site,
usability is nil
accessibility is nil
nobody can access one particular page.

THEN you cite a disability information site and claim you want it to be more like that!

Ditch the flash totally and recreate the site completely using only HTML & CSS.

Not a big fan. Hard to read, and loading time to get onto the site. People with slower connections will probably just bounce right off of your site. I almost did. I would recommend making it an html site. You can do all of those fancy things you did on your site without the use of flash.

I would just redo it in plain html and css, the site is a good idea but it would load a lot faster in plain html instead of flash.
