Hello, I just had a site built through Dreamweaver. It is called www.shoot2sell.net

I don't know if it seems "pro" enough, and I am unsure about the logo. In Dallas, image is everything, and I don't want it to seem like a college kid put it together. Thanks.

Hey Richard,

I like the website, its very clean and gets your point across.

The logo is decent but it could use some work, maybe try to get rid of those two bottom lines and move the number two in the back of the name.

As far as the website is concerned I think you should consider a different background image or change the contrast on this one because my eyes are drawn more to the background rather than the great pictures. Besides that, you should get rid of the center alignments on the other pages.

Overall though its very solid, it could just use a few little changes.

I think it looks nice, i personally like the banner your using, and instead of the lines at the top and bottom maybe use a color and see what it looks like.

i think what will be best for you is to use image gallery script which will look really great on your site you can try free php gallery scripts like 4images, phpcoin, gallery and some other as well.

The site is very clean. I like the logo a lot. Small content shift when transitioning pages, but not a big deal. Overall I'd give it an A!

At first glance the site looks too simple. The banner you have used looks too much like an advertising banner which would go on another site for Google Adwords etc.

After that is simply seems like you have put some pictures (really nice as they may be) on a page. My constructive points:
- Use a bit more colour for highlighting, maybe a big of DIV seperation nothing much just something to group the content together. The brains views mass information in Chunks, by using borders, divs and tables you can "tell" the users brain "how to Chunk the information"
- Yes use a photo gallery script for the images. Check out i think smashingmagazine.com or do a google search for AJAX image galleries, there are soooo many slick ones out there. If you are unfamiliar with it at first, use the one with the least amount of source code and pages, its much easier to integrate it.
- The other pages come off well, but the home page would look better with content similar to those pages (image gallery at the top followed by text.

Hope this helps

The top banner seems a bit heavy to me and "disjointed" from the rest of the site. For seo purposes replacing it with text that states what you do might very well be a better option. Spiders don't eat images, they eat text.

I would like to see a little more space between the == The best real .... ==. The closeness of the lines detracts from your tagline.

I agree with the other poster who said the body bg image is a little strong. Fixing that might be as simple as reducing the opacity. It should frame the site but not overpower it.

I do not agree with the statement to use a gallery script. You aren't selling the houses you are selling a service. And with some text to get your point across, I think you would be selling it fairly well.

These are just opinions.

Personal Review:
The top banner is too big. Minimize it by 40%. and get of the banner underneath.
Another option I'd consider is to add a minimal soft border around all of your images/links.

The buttons/links need more definition to them. Even if it's a soft grey curve around them, or something.

Also, neat little script for opening up images, though it would be more efficient on a portfolio page. not your front page.

Something that'd look really nice is if you could incorporate a FLASH file that soft fades from one image to the next, through each one in a cycle. With some ability to click to maximize and choose individual photos, to move forward and back through the image cycle.

So:
1) Do something to accentuate your links. Try turning them into buttons. Nothing too bright or tacky though. I like the whole minimalist white theme.
2) I like the top banner, but make it smaller.
3) The second banner is too big, bulky, and cumbersome, when compared to the images/top banner. It'd be effective the way it is, at the BOTTOM of the page, under the previously mentioned flash image cycler.
4) a border on the left/right side would be nice, of some sort.
Either that or

Likes the logo, but the slogan could be a bit clearer perhaps a darker colour.

Like the simple design but the stripes can be a bit confusing and personally is distracting me from the content
