It looks alright, but it is way to crowded at the top, if i were you i would take a lot of the text from the top and maybe just keep your logo on top.

I was a little overawed by the amount of information on the page, but for someone who would use your services it might look perfectly ok.

I think I`d be inclined to simplify it somehow, perhaps moving some of your material over to another page.

Apart from that the site looks good, and I found it easy enough to navigate.

Your header need reworked. I couldn't tell where your header ended til i clicked the top link. It would be better if the header was a different color than the body. Also the links should be a menu either horizontal or vertical. People either read a site or leave it based on the header and the first few lines.

Your site would be more attractive if you divided the info into more than one page. I'd suggest a 2 column page with a header.

Content Volume - It looks to have plenty of it for you to use

Content Structure - At this point not so good, so would be better if the info could be drilled down further e.g by country, state within your main categories or the other way round i.e first the country and or state and then the types.

Layout - you can try out a few more options than the current. Atleast on my system in both IE8 and Firefox3 on XP at 1024x768 it doesn't look so good. I'll try and give a look on a newer system as well. If you have traffic and analytics already, it would be good to see what your users are using as well.

Also your call to action is 'Add Website' and 'Add Article' which could be given more prominence. I'll try and add a screenshot as to how it looks.

If I had clicked on your page from a search engine, I would have left quickly. It seems very busy, and I have to scroll down to get to your content. Your navigational links should either be to the left of the content, or a small horizontal bar at the top. It shouldn't take up the whole page.
Would being able to search by location be a plus for your visitors?
I did find the site easy to navigate and didn't find any broken links, but I did notice that clicking on your logo doesn't always take you to the home page.
I also think the green highlighted text at the top is a little out of place.

I would start with the logo.. your site seems very busy but I think alot of it is the logo. it just draws my attention away from the site.. and then when it has my attention it doesnt leave a good feeling. I would move the "the handmade website promotion" to below the header.. add a little space. I would also rethink as many banners/ads.. at least maybe space them out more. It might also be better if you could at least add color to the margins and place the ads in there.

I agree I think it is to busy with text. I was confused as to where to look for information, moving some of the info into a nice nav would help.

First, I want to congratulate you on developing the content and launching this website. Numerous other members have pointed to structural or design issues. I want therefore to ask about the intention of your website. Intention drives the content and attracts audiences.

Who is your target audience?
What is your unique value proposition?

Answering these two questions will help better focus site structure.

My concern is that I came to the website, but did not understand why I should be there let alone who is was for.

We are five-people-crew (multilingual) at the moment, and have managed а labor division. Finally the site should become something like alibaba.com, but on higher business level and more industrial-oriented (for example http://search.db2b.info/businesses-b...ategories.html ).The google ads still have a place on the site for now..
We would say warm "welcome" to any company, that joins the database.
