I like the idea about a daily joke but thats really about it.
First ALL the ads need to go, ALL OF THEM.
The first half of your page is ads, then if you do manage to get people to sponsor the 2 "your ad here" parts, you whol page will be nothing but ads. You even have ads on your tagline, one of which was for a "free joke of the day email" So then if I signed up, I would no longer need to visit your site.
But if that doesnt get me, the fade in full page ad will surely turn me off. So right now I REALLY just wanna leave, but then theres the "Are you sure you wanna leave this page" Um yes, Im sure thats why I clicked the X.
Other than that, theres really nothing to actually review. The background could use some color other than Queesy Green. The banner could use a graphic or 2. You completely obliterated your sidebar- probably from the addition of the ads. I know theres one on your site because I actually another page. The problem is the link was hidden like one of the between posts Ads.
IMO, no page has any business putting ads on their page until theres content. Maybe one- tops. But other than clicking to do the review theres really no reason for me to visit.
Like I said- its a good idea, so there's potential. Maybe add a funny pic of the day or just pictures in general. Just no ads.
This is for reviewing webpages not web ads.
