Website Review and Suggestions

Hi,

I have made a new website to showcase my graphics and photography. Please can anyone give me some tips or ideas? I'm not sure about the colours or the background.

Very nice, the site looks good i like that it is not flashy and it helps to show your photography off better.

My personal opinion is that you should make the background a bit lighter (more white), just to give the main content more focus.

Except from that the site looks awesome!

Btw: you've got a bit to many keywords in your meta-tag and why do you use 2 different GA-accounts on the same page?

You need some text on the page for search engines to work with. Pictures are fine but not good SEO.

Thanks for the comments. Glad you like it.

The home page has now gone through some changes, the navigation has now changed a lot, and the background is different.

@Penttinen: I chose to lose the texture and go darker, white looks to strong.
Too many keywords? I didn't think 9 was too many meta tags, how many should I be putting?
The two different analytics code is for two different profiles. I have set up one for the homepage and all related pages, and then one for each separate page as well. This might have been a waste of time, but it working ok for now.

@kenjpet: The links are all text, is this not enough for SEO? Any advice?

Hey bandwagon. Correct me if I am wrong but I think web design is your main keyword phrase. Again, please correct me if I am wrong. I assume this because it is the first keyword in your list and the only one used in more than one tag. Your current density is:
Title: 0: 11: 0%
Body: 0: 18: 0%
H1/H2/H3: 0: 0: 0%
Links: 0: 12: 0%
Bold: 0: 0: 0%
Meta description: 1: 21: 9.5%
Meta keywords: 1: 12: 16.7%
You may think you use it in the title but what you have now is :
title: Tim Aldous - Graphic and Web Designer based in the North-West.
Web design and web designer are two distinctly different keyword phrases. A lot of the keywords I use can change the number of search demands just by being in the plural and plural is not the same keyword if you follow what I am trying to say.
Again, let me restate, You need text on the page. And which link says "web design"?

The site is good , however the load time is high. I think it should be reduced. Navigation and layout doing good.

I like the concept a lot. The only thing I would change is on those images on the homepage having the text appear before rollover so you know what it is before mouseover. Some people who are not computer savvy may be confused.
