Website Review and Suggestions

Dear Webmasters,

I would really appreciate a review of my new web design site. I am actually planning to run my own business building websites for small businesses in my local area. Instead of trying to slam the search engines I will be using local advertising and such and will be using this as my hub page.

I tried to create a combination of:

Professionalism
Asthetic Look
Modern
Catchy
Well Written
Sales Like
Informative

All feedback would be really welcome. I have also added an example of the my work in the testimonials page.

Hi, I'm new at building websites but I can tell you your site looks very nice. Straight to the point and the layout looks nice and clean. BUT. Here is why my review is important to you. I am exactly the customer you are looking for . I own a small business and wanted a website but realized I could not afford to have one done for me at this time(prices in my area are way more the yours). If you were in my area and I didn't have a site I would hire you. That is the best review you can get ! will you check out my site and give me your honest opinion ? Thanks , BR7

I would get ~~some sort of portfolio~~ up so people can see more of what you can do. It looks nice but I would put together a logo instead of the text in the heading- I will add the name is pretty clever. At first I thought it was like your name.

I like your site. It's "clean" and easy to navigate.
If i was you i would change only the very light blue color. I would like more a darker color...

Looks decent the colors are not the best but that is only my opinion, it is pretty easy to navigate and i do not see anything wrong so, good work on it.

You need to use keywords in your title tag. Search engines have no idea what Camwebber is. Plus whatever your main keywords are you need to use them in all three meta tags. You are billing yourself as doing SEO so I suggest you bone up on how to use meta tags and on page density of keywords.

I am well aware of this. I have not targeted my site for Search Engines as the market is so competative there is no point. I will be using local advertising and so far it has created me a large amount of business.

Looks pretty good. Simple and easy to use. I would recommend adding a portfolio though if you are looking for clients.

Your website is a nice idea i have to stop to admire it. The design is great especially the grass disign at the top of the page its quite atractive. Keep up the good job.

I like the grass at the top, but I think it needs a logo.

You should fix those issues and add a nice logo. You need to brand your self.

Website layout is good.. but reduce the banner size and make good font size,, and increase the content area.. an put one good logo

Very well customised. But i feel the logo should exist at the top. Site is really easily navgable. good work.

Looks nice but the text at the top is a bit hard to read. Thin white text on a light blue background is not ideal. You might want to use thicker letters or a different colour.

Hi there.

As a fellow webdesigner I am based in Essex. I have run my company for 3 years now and have done quite a few jobs.

I am impressed with the design. It is clean, light and not to "in your face".

Secondly the website is very easy to navigate which is always mega important.

That is the good notes but there are a couple of things I would improve on:

Portfolio is spelt "Portfolio" and NOT "Portfollio". If I was a potential customer that would put me straight off because I would think... these people cant f*cking spell so they aint doing my site.

Secondly I would change the wording. KamWebber... as your first word is confusing. I would change it to something like "This Web Design Company is based in Cambridge" "We are called CamWebber".... etc...

I think the header needs to be pared down significantly. The top padding is a bit absurd and that's followed by about 200px of header with just a little text in the middle. I don't think someone running 1024x768 is going to see much content above the scroll.

your web site logos are not looking much professional. especially the second and third one. also font is not comfortable enough for a layman reader to continue reading your site. its 5.5 in my ratings.

Your site is cool and it looks professional but the SEO tags it made your site look crowded.
