Hi!

I've created a small tool to extract available domain names from any given URL.
I'm more interested in feedback on the functionality rather than design and such.

Should the search result be presented in a different way?
Should one be able to filter the results?
Is the progress bar useful or is it just annoying?

http://www.url2domain.com

The site is hosted in Sweden so I hope it isn't to laggy!

Best regards,
Pelle

P.S. I apologize for any misspelling, english isn't my native language

I tried it out and it seems to work right, if i where you i would change the colors of the site, and i really do not mind the progress bar at all. good job on it.

Knight13: Ok! I'll take a look at the design when I'm done with all functions

chrishirst: It's mostly for people seeking new domains for projects or regular domain-junkies

Ha! I found was that I had a spelling mistake on my site when it said that essentiial.com was available!

Great was to waste half hour or so...

We've scanned a total of 830 URLs, finding 348,747 domains of which 52,740 was available.
Should be:

I think the progress bar is a good idea as it takes quite a while. I too don't see much attraction to this tool.

Seems to work well,
HOWEVER!

Putting something like google.com fails with a popup saying , You need to add HTTP://

Maybe you should just code it to instead of moaning, Just put it in for the user and carry on without an error.

Other than that, Seems ok.
