Website Review and Suggestions

So I know I can get this company to the top of google, but I had to make the site !!!!

I did my best ... here is a test home page, my 5th version!

I know I am not creative, and this looks like its from 1997, please help with your critisim.... Thanks in advance!!!

Right now I am just looking for creative stuff, I am putting it in Dreamweaver later on to fix all the pics, names, tags, etc....

Ha, I had to respond to this post, you seem so jovial. Alright, when you say you "know you can get this company to the top of google", I just don't even understand what you mean. So we'll skip that.

You have no Meta tags in the header, I would recommend atleast the description="" tag.

There are 40 HTML validation errors, but no CSS, so get that fixed.
17 images do not have alt="" information.
The Title Tag is a bit too long, chances are it will be cut.

A few observations. Not sure if Oxford Deleading is the main name or R.C. Rheault.
You could use the width more effectively, lots of space lost even at 1024 x 768 resolution. The first image could be better placed, kind of breaks the flow of reading the content for me atleast. The links on the left could move up if the top image was to the right in line with the 2nd column. The rest of the page looks neat and clear.

This will show you any errors.
You have done a good job with making it easy to read and look at. The text colours and good space helps this so well done.

The page could be a little wider, and the main bodies of text should be aligned left really, but also that's not so important on this site.

The footer would look better across the whole body not just half of it.

Thanks for getting back to me. I do SEO and work with web designers.

I can get this at the top of the keywords we want as there is no real competition and I know what to do. I didn't sat I'll do this overnight.....

I just did this in a WYSIWYG website maker, giving it a shot.

I'm gonna use photoshop and dreamweaver to get the usable index page after I get the design down.

I know the meta tags aren't there or no alt tags yet...

I am just looking at a design point.

Is it busy?

Is it tough to follow?

Do you not get it?

Oxford deleading is the main company and RC Rheault, this is what they wanted to have for their logo.

The site is good but over designed or i must say lots of stuff in front page. Even the links are not working and seems to be broken.

It does not look that bad, but you need to fix the content area up a little, the boxes and how the content is set up is whats making it look bad.

You don't have to be a very creative person in order to produce a good design. Design and imagination or creativity are not the same thing. There are principles, or rules, to design, like colour theory and the golden ratio. The more you conform to these principles, the better your work and more refined your creativity will become.

1. Template - Sometimes you can try using template, easy for you to startup.
2. Blog - Some blogs provide good templates where it doesn't look like a blog too.
3. Color - Color combination is a bit odd. You can try using this tool: Color Match.

I also don't know what you mean about top ranking in Google.

There is way too much going on all at once. Pick the most important things for the homepage, and put everything else somewhere else.
