Hi Guys,

It has been a bit long since I posted in this forum. This time I need your advice on the best way to support visitors of my one year old site http://www.ephotobay.com

It has visitors. kind of 100 per day however support and easiness of use seems horrible so as a result income is almost zero.

Currently I'm working on redesigning the website but at the same time I need to build a better support system for users to be able to help users and at the same time be able to know best ways to optimize the website for users needs over time using users feedback.

I checked different tools for achieving that but not sure which one s the best.
1- use phpmyfaq: a SE friendly FAQ management system. which have many features.
2- make a blog using wordpress or whatever for general announcement,making tutorials etc ...
3- use a ticket system.
4- open a forum (I like phpbb) and place into it technical support and announcements and FAQ etc ...

I thought of using phpmyfaq and blog and ticket support system alltogether
but I think having a forum can do the task of all of them. beside managing three systems is kind of tough.
I know all of these system well since I programmed in them but I don't have experience in managing them so I don't know which way to go in terms of best way for achieving seo and best way for achieving easiness for users, beside ability to get feedback on service and new features and needed features etc...

If you have experience of similar situations, can I have your advice on that?

You could use some kind of "Live support software" that has a ticket system built in

Hello.

About FAQ, you have already one, but you need to make it seo-friendly url.

I think that you don't need a ticket system if you want to add a forum, in the forum every one can post and every one can read.

I believe the FAQ I have is not sufficient at all. Since I'm not able to know how users think and what confusion they may have when using the website. making good FAQ require user feed back. I checked phpMyFAQ and it is not just FAQ listing. it allow users to provide feedback and share in making the FAQ so over time this should become best FAQ suited for users needs. besides it should become good base for google searchers to find my website.
But on the other side I need place for posting announcements,upgrades new features etc... surely FAQ management system can't be suitable for that. other thing is that I need support system better than just contact me button.
In short I need to offer three services place for announements/upgrades etc..., FAQ, support system.
but again having three systems isn't an easy thing to manage so I'm just asking which is better having three systems BLOG/FAQ/TICKET systems or having just forum to make up the task? Or is there any other ideas?

I can't make live help since I've work and can't be available for long time. besides the service is almost free so offering live help is kinda not cost effective at least for the time being.
