Website Review and Suggestions

Hi my friends,
I am going to start on this website next week http://www.infinityfinancialsolutions.com/index.php
What do you think needs improvements on here?
I am thinking about getting rid of the flash and putting more text on the home page, so what else do you SEO experts think I need to do? I have my own ideas as so do my staff, bu would like some other heads and feedback.

The site structure is a bit confusing, there seem to be a lot of unnecessary sub folders e.g www.domain.com/about_us/index.php instead of just www.domain.com/about_us.php

there is no usage of meta description, h1 tags, etc.

Also you can move all that css and javascript to seperate files and just call them where appropriate.

Yes I am planning on getting rid of the folders, there is no text on the homepage and the flash on most pages is awful, I might get rid of it completely and use nice images with text to replace.

Yes i would really get rid of the flash, but other than that it is not to bad in my opinion, it should be easy to fix up.

I just typed in Financial Solutions and the website is 2nd in google searches, It does not have many links or pages indexed, the homepage has no meta tags or anythign really.
How does it rank so well?

Overall I like the design.... Yup, agree the flash is not so great and can be done away with. Use a jquery slider instead. That will make that section look sleek.
Your domain name is the main reason of the site being indexed so well. And the ranking will be improved if you have meta declarations.

as janecooke mentioned, do away with the subfolders. Look and feel wise, I would suggest stick to what it is!

the brown, turquoise and orange make a good scheme - does the logo have to stay blue and yellow??

logo should be gif or png-8 NOT jpeg

needs favicon
lose the tables for layout

It's as if wherever i go on the site i see a different design, as if i'm no longer on the same page at all. I think it would be a good idea to make the designs more internally consistent to make the transition from page to page less jarring.

Use the meta tags well. Dont use flash in your page..

I agree with everyone saying don't use flash. It is a dying technology and cannot be used on iPhones and iPads (granted I hate both of those those things, but a lot of people use them). Flash isn't very SEO friendly as well. It is a good start to a website though.

One thing I noticed is there is no search button next to the search input field. While many people know they can just hit enter, not everyone does. Remember to design websites for the computer illiterate as well as the nerds like us.
