I'm just looking for constructive criticism of my personal website. I redesigned it a while back. I am largely content but I would be happy to make some tweaks to freshen it up a bit.

I like the site. Its clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Te site manages to incorporate a sizable amount of information without too much vertical scrolling yet manages to not feel or be overwhelming or clustered.

The one confusing thing i did come across was on the first page, at the bottom under the heading "Vaio 2009 Wallpaper's" there is a brief message, and under this 4 links.

Previous News Items, TrekBBS Webring, << , >>

Normally when you see << and >> you assume they mean back and forward or previous/next...yet TrekBBS webring, <<, and >> all seemed to navigate offsite instead of following the normal behavior for the placement and naming. This was unexpected.

Other then that i was impressed. The only other recommendation i would add is to offer a rss feed. I personally dont subscribe to them myself, but i know alot of people do.

The design is very good. Simple and good for eye.
In header you can put a 468x60 banner because there is a empty space.
Good lock with the site.

Thanks for pointing that out. That abbreviation is a holdover from my old website when I had more limited width. I guess I have room to be more specific now.

I do offer an RSS feed (visible by browsers that pick up on it in <HEAD>) but I haven't yet summoned the sufficient narcissism to advertise it on the home page.

First off, I bookmarked your VAIO section. Very nice selection of VAIO specific wallpapers you have there. I own a Sony VAIO laptop myself, so I'll be sure to make use of them.

As for your design, I really like it, but I think I actually prefer the color pallet of v.8. The lighter color scheme is a bit friendlier on the eyes and the addition of a bit more color gives it a certain sex appeal, but that's just my two cents worth. The only other thing I think of is perhaps using something other than just a bunch of lines to break up the content on the front page. Maybe you could try putting the What's New bit in a box with a slightly lighter color background and a darker 1px border. Really haven't given it two much thought, but I think you get what I mean.
