Really interesting design, I like it a lot!
I have a few ideas for improvements:
> Larger or more legible menu font. I know you're pushed for space here, but right now your menu is squashed and difficult to read. I would combine graphic design, web design etc... into a single link 'services' or something. Then I would use a larger, clearer menu font.
> I would use a more interesting creative font for your main headings (not times roman). Perhaps use image replacement like: www.themeforest.net
> Your main content aside from your headings all uses the same sized font, so I didn't really know where to look. I would make your welcome/about opening paragraph a bit larger, and make the key words/phrases bold to draw attention.
> Your work examples look great, but are far too small and there feels to be too many of them on your homepage. Generally a good rule of thumb is to display only a few of your very best works. Doing this should allow you to display your best works and use much larger images for them. Currently I can't really see the details of your work until I click on them. Perhaps showcase 3-5 examples that are the full width of your left column, then the rest on a subpage.
> Your link color isn't all that readable against your background. I would go for a link color with more contrast.
