Website Review and Suggestions

I have been designing websites for a couple of years now, but in my eyes this is definitely one of my best. But this is just my opinion, and I was wondering what everyone else thinks. Please take a look at http://apotentmix.com, all comments are useful.

Great design, but you could add a little bit more color to the navigation menu. Also, the background could be a little more transparent

Everything looks good, other than the background, that looks really bad and it is taking away from your site.

I agree with the other users in this thread about the background, if it was transparent it'd be much better. The colour choice is one that i have never seen before. Overall i love the design.

I too find the background distracting. I'd scrape it entirely. I think the logo could use some work, but overall it's a great layout. I agree also agree with the compliments on the color scheme. The plume color isn't seen very often in websites.

As a suggestion for the background, try making it fixed rather than scrollable. If you do that, lighten it even more, and add drop shadows to your main content area, I think it could improve it a lot.

Nice work. Design and layout looks real nice. Background looks decent too. And the site seems to load pretty fast. Some wordpress sites are a little slow, this one loads pleasantly fast.

Looks nice and simple, however the backround is my only discretion. I would suggest making it fixed as VirtuosiMedia had mentioned, or perhaps, add about 10%-25% white on top. Making it less contrast with the content, therefore less distracting to the eye. BTW, the site load time is lovely. Just first time loading up it took only 4.8 seconds, all other pages were about 1 second each.

I really like this site. When you said this is one of my best designs and I remembered your other work I got really excited. My excitement was not put to waste, this site is really well designed. Keep up the good work.
