Website Review and Suggestions

I'm looking for general reviews, feedback, suggestions, etc. for my site.

My site, N o t e P a l, is an online marketplace where anyone can buy, and anyone can sell notes. Notes from conferences, class lectures, book summaries, or notes on anything.

also... this is just the DEV environment. so if you want to create your profile and upload notes for real, ping me and I'll give you details for the PROD environment.

I like the scribble guy logo.

Site's clean, easy to understand what it's about. I'm not really a fan of that solid, bright blue block on the page. I'd tone it down a bit, perhaps with a bit of a gradient to visually break it up a bit.
