The layout of the items looks good. I assume you will remove the image under your logo and use text instead! I would consider changing icons. I didn't fall in love with the color selection.
Overall, for a webdesigner it could have been better. I personally wouldn't hire a webdesigner that has a website like this. Sorry for the harsh comments...

Good luck!

One thing that jumped out at me right away is that the photos don't seem crisp and sharp, but rather a bit blurry. Maybe you could put some sharper photos up.

Aye, the photos are just temporary, are actually stretched, just there for functionality purposes, nothing more. They will be changed soon enough

Design looks good, only thing I can think of is the white text on the light gray background.

Looks alright, but i do not like the home, about and portfolio icons on the top they look really generic, i would get rid of those.

Quite a nice site. very in your face

Layout is very nice. Colours are alright. The red is a bit too luch for my tastes
Perhaps only using the red for the 'Why Me? Who am I? and Quote titles and then a different colour for the text below it.

Good luck and Keep it up

The layout is Great, only real change needs to be the text size on page needs to be smaller on left.

Plus u have the text at bottom thats too small. Fix your navigation buttons at top their too small. make main slideshow imag smaller

Im sorry? Inexperienced i doubt it, show me some of your 'super high class experienced' work. Was the site designed for 800x600. No it was built for people who actually use a decent resolution. You seem to be the only person with the resolution problem.

I agree with him as well. You design for people with huge monitors thats great but dont ask for a review and then get defensive when someone doesnt like it.

I think its awful, the photos are awful and call them a placeholder if you want but its hard to look at the site and not have the bad photos make an impression. Half of your text is so large its jaggy and distracting and the other half is so small its hard to read. There were a couple validation errors if you care.

I like the colors and the layout is nice but totally broken in IE, which I know you know but...

It's alright overall. Although, I second the picture sharpness. Is that generating thumbnails of pictures, or just stretching too small of pictures? (I would assume the latter)

Its good, but you have to do some modifications in the site. The images, since are more blurred, as they are expanded too much. Apart from this, do also try to cover your web page with correct dimensions, as users cant navigate every time, if they want to see the portfolio, Contact on your website.
