I have designed my new website, which is basically a new web design company. Let me know on what u think, also on some improvements that can be made

Can the banner be improved, not the logo but the actual banner aswell?

i would center the website, catches the eye more IMO. the navigation text should also trigger the anchor tag, the rollover is nice but if you do not know its there you will go straight for the text so it would be nice if they both triggered the rollover effect.

Other than that its a nice website, goodjob.

Looks alright, some the icons on the site looks generic, and the flash that has all the words popping up is a little pointless and it is slow.

The design is WAY too wide. It doesn't fit on a 1024 wide monitor (still very common), and doesn't even fit on a 1152 wide monitor (even more common). You had better either slim it down or else make it a fluid design.

what would you recommend as size for the width, which would be viewable from 1024 x768 upwards

No wider than 980px (accounts for scrollbars). You can squeeze a few more pixels than that actually, but that's the safest I remember.

Or, you could do a fluid layout, which is a bit more involved though.
