Hey guys I have just recently setup a forum at my blog, I have made the forum on a subdomian, http://forum.jgblogging.com

Well basically what i want to know is whether it is all setup correctly, does it look ok, and whether everything works.

Your forum descriptions do need a bit of work doing to them, slightly repetitive and on their own wouldn't get any traffic.

I have changed a few of the descriptions. How else can they improved? Got any advice?

You might want to read that seo blog you have in your signature, it may give you some ideas.

I am knew to running forums, Didn't know the descriptions in the forums helped with SEO.

any non-repetitive contents contents will help with SEO. the more descriptive contents the better will be ranking in search engines. of course there are many other factors like links to you from other sites but contents are the most important I think.

People will love the forum which they can put signature.

A forum is just a web page albeit with dynamic content, you wouldn't use what you have as a web page so why would you use it to front the forum.

People who are actually interested in the forum content really won't care about signatures!

Ye, its kinda good for forum owners (more members) but then again it gives the forum admins and mods more work clearing up all the forum spam.

As a professional forum poster, I feel I can help critique your site to better it's SEO and traffic. In forum service board there is a typo: "Discuss with fellow forum owners, What service your use, advice, tips and tricks. "
As well your forum main theme (webmaster) should be explained easier in your logo maybe larger text. Site looks good and good luck, there is always room for another good webmaster forum. Check my signature if you need development and keep up the great work
