Well other than the huge amount of space on the right side of the screen, the site looks ok, but it is just too plain, maybe just keep working on it a little more and fix the space on the right.

Looks fine,
However loading times are bad.

Your images are resized versions of the bigger ones.

Maybe make smaller ones designed just for the smaller images, save them as jpg or png and you will save a lot of downloading.

rather than a 1meg image, people will only need to download 100k images.

i like the orginization but not the color scheme. the bright green and orange. pastel colors stand out and are not as loud

It loads fine for me using ie and a cable connection. It would be nice if the site fit the page so I didn't have to scroll over.

Generally its a nice website making you want to stay more than the usual 2-3 seconds.
Try to center main content so you wont have to show white space on the right.
Then try to remove adsense banners, unless you are making nice money out of them.
For example top adsense can be replaced by top hotel destinations.
Header and logo can have a subtitle underneath or next to them as h2, good for seo and good for visitors.

The photos you share are so beautiful. Your site looks nice, but I don't like the way you mix the colors so much. Anyway, you did a really good job.
