I'm looking for some review and critique on my new forum.

I could use ANY help, advice, suggestions, and critique. It would be absolutely awesome

Here are a few comments from me. I hope that you improve from reading them.

♣ I don't like the icons used to notify someone when a new post has been posted
♣ The logo should be centered
♣ The background should have a color similar to the background of the logo's image

That's all that I can say, because you've just closed down the board while I was browsing it,

too much black../have you considered adding some banners or something to liven it up or monetize it a little bit?

Agree, the layout is very dark, not very into a gaming atmosphere.

My suggestions.

Banner should be saved in a better format. I suggest PNG or JPEG. It is currently saved in GIF

which is 16bit color?

Also try and make the banner more wider to cover all of the header.

As other users have already stated the colors are dark. I suggest a new theme altogether. The theme is just colors and no images, backgrounds are used at all. Looks kind of plain in my opinion.

Try to add descriptions for all forum sections, I see some sections are blank and some have information.

I like a lot of sites that are dark, but i do not like the icons that are used they are meant for a white background and you can see the jagged white edges, that needs to be changed.
