Website Review and Suggestions

Guys, I'd like to ask you to give some feedback on our feedback service. It's called Idea Informer, please find the website here http://idea.informer.com/.

Its idea is very simple: a webmaster sets up an interactive widget on a website, and users write their ideas on how to improve the website via this widget. Other users can vote for the best ideas moving them to the top of the list.
Btw, the service is free unlike its competitors.

Tell me please what should be added both to the website and the service itself. We are constantly trying to improve it, and that is why we need your opinion. Thank you in advance.

your links are a little small and hard to find. and theres not that much content on your home page i would add some more info on it

Hi I like your site, the design is nice and simple.

My suggestion - The part where you have "Visitor Suggest > Ideas Voted For ...", darken the gray as it is too light to see clearly what those pictures are actually showing.

Other than that your website has quite a narrow audience, you really need to do lots of marketing to reach people whose website is growing like mine, =)

I will definitely consider using your website to help mine.

Informer.com probably generates millions of dollars in revenue every year. Why not pay for surveys like other companies?

Thizzle, I didn't really get your remark. You mean conducting surveys instead of asking for your opinion here at the forum?))

Thanks for your opinion! I agree about the shade of gray, thanks.
As for the audience, we've already got 20,000 something projects at the Russian version of the service, which is reformal.ru, so I hope we'll be able to gain as much and more for the English one as well)

Obviously you did understand what I meant... Anyways I'll offer you a full review/ advice.

Since, the majority of people here are professional webmasters who pay hosting fee's. Personally I don't like to cloud up my widget bar with anything that's not completely necessary to my theme.

Now, personally I think widgets are only popular among new webmasters who think people will actually use them. However, a widget like yours will only be useful if the website has traffic. Which most new users will not have.

As for the widget it should definately let people choose the colors they want. That way they can blend it in with their themes.

Anyways, that's pretty much all I have for you. Of course, informer.com is a huge platform to launch any widget off of. I'm sure it will have it's success just because you recieve millions of visitors every month.

i Think the project concept is really great,
i mean usually, website visitors never complete the surveys and stuff..
but this Idea Informer is fresh concept.

Thizzle, thanks) The whole situation is a bit different from the way you imagine it, however we'll take your critical comment into account. As for the widget colors, they are customizable as well as its size.

Hi,

I agree with you guys that your site is look good and nice but your link is too some so i hard to find.....you better change the font size.....
