Website Review and Suggestions

still coding this site, basically only finished the header lol. but I like the little mascot I drew for the customer, ( based on his ideas) and wanted to share.

made the little mouse do different things for the buttons lol.

everything else, is just filler until he gets me the info for it. just kinda stuck stuff there to "make it work"

As basic as the website is I like your use of image swaps.

The graphics can use some work though... I know PNG's take up alot of space but you could upload them to a website like Photobucket and have there huge servers serve the large files like PNGS.

The mouse that changes as you hover over the links is nice and in keeping with a 'fun' company - it reminds me of an old-style computer game for some reason.

Three things I don't like about it though:

1. The purple background is flat and too dark, try using a gradient to make it feel more modern, and purple is not the most fun colour.

2. The flat grey wallpaper above the mouseholes is a little, well, flat.

3. On the other pages you are using the font Comic Sans as a header. Nobody except complete beginners uses Comic Sans - it's the most reviled font in web design. There's even a campaign to ban it: http://bancomicsans.com/home.html

There are also a few errors in your HTML, but nothing you couldn't fix in a couple of minutes.

video makes it look pretty impressive

and the reason people don't like comic sans is because its used where it shouldn't be, corporate newsletters, business websites etc. Not because there is anything wrong with the font, just people dont know when to use it.

"Nobody except complete beginners uses Comic Sans" like Disney?

cartoony sites is where the font fits.

The hover effects are very funny and interesting. My suggestions :

♠ Include alternative text to your images

♠ Don't use images as your headings.

♠ Include heading HTML to the content of your web page ( h1 - /h1 )

♠ Add a better designed footer

If you visit the "Index" file and look at his portfolio he does has some extremely nice designed websites. Though, I will tell Moddish that he has a huge obsession with shadowing.

Sometimes when your making graphics Moddish less can be alot more if you know what I mean. Still, you have some very nice websites.

I was just hired for the graphics on the header. and the hover code. the customer is doing the rest of the site himself.

Yeah, when I first started ( and for a while after, I used the drop shadow button allot lol ) don't anymore

footer menu can be better, concept looks nice design too but need still working. I think its great Job.
