You done a good job with your site, pretty sure it will do well, should devote a section purely to dumb quotes by the rich and famous.

Haven't started with the actual quote categories yet, maybe a month or two later when I'm done with the first 200 people

The site looks good and everything but i do not understand the graphic you are using for your logo, i mean it looks good but it does not have anything to do with the site.

I don't like the design. We have 2010, not 2000 ;-) You can leave the same location of boxes, images etc. but you should improve your graphic.
I like that people can browse quotes by country, people or type. Nice domain also.

Looks like some old guy with a love of quotes and zero web skills put it together in celebration of figuring out how "the internets" works.

...guess you could add a bunch of animated gifs and just refer to it as "retro inspired" though.

Very nice content indeed, well structured as well. However, the graphic design badly needs a revamp. As a few said before me, it looks unprofessional. If you devote that much time to filling it with content, you should try to make it appealing to the eye as well.

Web users nowadays are getting used to higher quality sites, so upgrading the site's looks can only be beneficial.

Also review your code source, you have some unnecessary link tags outside of the head section.

Your database skills seem adequate, the appearance of the site would benefit from the use of divs rather than tables for layout.

Very nice website, interesting content indeed. I spent some time reading the quotes and watching photos... really interesting...
But please work on the graphic design. it's really necessary.

dont listen to "$postcount++" people.. they always say "looks good and useful".

Listen to me.,
Try to improve the layout styling first. Do not use table with borders. Try to make a little professional logo. Try to create one from GIMP if possible.

Why not you try to download a free/opensource css based templates from web and integrate?

Try to place the "add this" button on right place.

other than that, Your site have good collection of quotes

For me design is poor, can be better. Everything else is great. I like the content ;D
