I think it's very, very good. Everything is laid out well, and I like the red colours on the navigation for the most important links. It works across all the browsers I've tested and fits nicely on a 1024x768 resolution monitor.

The best part is, you land on the site and immediately know what it's about, and what to do next. All the info's there, without overwhelming you, which is superb. Most designers seem to forget sites are meant to be used by visitors.

But you're probably not on here for praise so here's the criticism:

Your XHTML doesn't validate - it has several errors.

You've got loads of css stylesheets, you could combine these into one and make your page load a bit faster.

This one's probably not your fault, but you could do with better quality pictures on the image slider on the front page. The odd one looks like an expanded thumbnail - blurry and horrible.

Not your fault either, but the h1 font at 50px on Windows machines looks like crap - it has jagged edges because of the way Windows renders fonts. Only solution is to use another font, change background/text colour or use an image replacement, none of which are ideal. Looks fine on Mac/Safari.

But it looks like it will be a successful website to me, so well done.

Agree with the comments above.

Overall, a nice well designed website.

The amount of content on each page is just right.

Also, agree that if you can get better quality mug shots (and more attractive looking people ) that would be a big plus.

Good job.

Overall it's a nice website. The only thing I noticed was that the English wording is not correct. Have a fluent English speaker proof read it for you to fix the mistakes. I would not be this picky except that it is a tuition site.

Actually, correct English is important on every website.
Especially if native speakers are reading it.
Poor English just looks amateurish and destroys any professional appearance.

Hi,

I agree with two of you guys that fluent English grammar is the most important tool in your site...

The design looks old to me, it should look more modern, and the red and blue colors do not work well with each other, with the grammar you should try to fix it as much as you can but i have seen lots of big websites that has tons of spelling errors and it does not hurt their sites.

agree with this... the biggie that stuck out to me was "Need Tutor?" That should be "Need a Tutor?" or "Need Tutoring?"
