I've completely re-done everything. The original website was a horrible overly-shiny web 2.0 style website with a nasty dark background. It was all hand coded in PHP, and seeing as I'm no PHP ninja it meant that the whole website was a bit of a mess.
Now everything has changed! I've given it a much fresher look and removed all the Web 2.0 effects. I've even made a few tweaks to Joey B (the penguin mascot) to make him look that little bit cooler.
I rebuilt the site in Wordpress. I'm quite shocked I managed to build a community site in Wordpress to be honest, I did have to tweak it quite a lot. Sure using WP for this website undoubtedly has its downsides, but it makes life so much easier at the same time.
Also, seeing as I seem to be building almost everything in WP these days, I thought this would be a great opportunity to see just what is possible with it and what isn't.
Feedback is much appreciated, good or bad
