Website Review and Suggestions

Hi all,

I've been working hard at putting together my new site: www.tomatofree.co.uk

It is designed to help raise awareness of tomato intolerance (and to promote "Ally's No Tomato Sauce").

There are a couple of nifty features such as store locator and I was quite pleased with the way the shopping basket works too.

I keep finding things that need work and would appreciate some feedback from you guys.

I like this a lot, very simple and clean. The orange/yellow hues are very bright and energizing. Could use some more actual photos of the product imo. Overall, design looks good.

Great looking website
Like the use of background image when resizing page, keeps everything central to user.
Search feature worked really well, I looked for spaghetti and beans and got some great looking images of the recipe ideas using your product.
Navigation would look better if the button or text changed color to let me know which part of the site i was on, however you title text of the pages are good for showing this
Social side of website is great, comments section for users and all comments are moderated

Nice simple , clean design. Good choice to go with WordPress.

Agree that you should get some bigger images of the sauce bottles.

There are some Wordpress plugins that allow very basic ecommerce.
What not add that as an option on your site.

One important suggestion, install the SEO-all-in-one plugin.
and add the words "tomato allergy" to all your title tags.

nice builded site, but where's the tomato? I hardly find one, I thought at the first post, tells me "It is designed to help raise awareness of tomato intolerance"...

He/She has a point.

Maybe a tomato with a a cross symbol through it or something along those lines?

Sorry i do not like it, the colors are not that great and the layout to me looks weird, if i were you i would look for a more pro looking design.

Also if you are serious about selling your product get new labels made, the ones you have are alright but they look like they would be used on generic products, you need to make the product look like it is a name brand item.

Nice site but the links at the top are a little too long, don't want to have to scroll horizontally to see all your links

I make my sites 1000px wide, I think the site looks great.
Did not know their was such a thing called tomato intolerance.

you should make the background a bit more simple. it is hard to concentrate with to many graphics.

It is nice but i would pay a little more attention to the free space between components - like tomato jars being too close to the text. Design talking.

I really like it! Although I would like some more content pictures.

Also you could do some CSS3 corner rendering for those truly stunning corners, and a fallback for IE using the current theme.

Overall for design: 9/10. Very very nice, but more pictures

nice and clean site.. but from my point of view, it does not seem like designed by a pro.. but it's still good
