Nice site, like the before and after section, think you should expand on that and maybe do an update on jobs every couple of days, ie old kitchen, the rip out, chasing in new electrics and plumbing, cabinet fitting, tiling etc. How things are done and why they are done that way.

I have a forum with a construction section and it is one of the busiest on the forum, people are interested in that stuff

Your site looks good and the layout is nice too. Its decent. However, you need to improve on graphics to make it more attractive on the first sight.

Not a huge fan of the overly social feel to the website such a the round corners and icons on your side navigation. I think square corners will give it a sharper feel.

Add a home button on the nav if you can fit it. People aren't always smart enough to click on the logo to go back to the home page. Users will typically use the home page to orient themselves in the website. That's what I did when I was looking through your website and got disoriented.

The logo looks out of place. Move it to the upper left. This will help with branding on the website. It currently looks like the logo applies to the image not to the website.

Add a header bar (great place for that logo as well) or give it some space at the top to give it some room between the top image and the browser window so it doesn't blend in with the browser window. That will really help that top image pop.

Also consider adding some image rotation on that top image. It will help pull people into the site.

The black ground is BLACK. Here's a tip to all you inspiring designers out there... Never use pure black or white. That's a sweeping statement I know but you get the idea. Adding a simple gradient to the background will give it that polished look.

Very nice and well designed. Makes the site very "homey".

Feel free to add a link at my free web directory removed. it will be added to a lot more besides the one.

I Like the unique of the design I see it perfect and professional .
but the buttons are totally against search engines optimization you don't use text on it ..regular visitor will never notice that ..
and your web site layout are based on tables (not all of it but war are)
at what i know tables are criticized for modern designs ..
and i notice empty Div "".center_div"" I test it firebug and i found it doing noting in the design (if I not wrong )

..
