Hello,

I have recently been working and updating Covenant Restorations Inc. website and I would appreciate any feedback.

I believe I would like to change the background to a lighter color eventually and add a favicon, other than that I have just been working on getting video and images to add as well as more content. I spend the majority of my time building backlinks and content whitehat style.

This is built on Joomla with a Rockettheme Template.

Any thoughts would be helpful..

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input.

The water backdrop is the clients request, eventually I should be putting a flash intro into that banner area - pretty much covering up most of that backdrop.

Not too dark?

How dark do you need it?

If this site is for business then DARK is really the wrong way to go... except you deal with graphics

Why is dark wrong for a business website in your opinion? Such generalisations are useless as productive criticism. Light/Dark for business websites is a matter of client/designer taste and target market receptiveness.

Many commercial websites in the fashion, design and entertainment industries are dark/black. Are they all 'wrong'? They're business as well...

Floodfixer, I don't like the content areas having the same black background colour as the layout background. I think a very dark blue taken from the water graphic woul suit better and serve to make the content cells come forward, more pronounced...

It looks good and it does not hard to read. I'm not sure I would have pick black skin for Water Restoration. Seems to me that colors associated with water will fits better

I agree - making the site more "blue" would help to lighten it up somewhat - and dark sites for business work, for certain business types - but I am not sure if a dark template works for this business.

lelooman,

Yes I have squashed the banner somewhat on every page but the Home page - I would actually like to free up more space - I am a big fan of having everything fit (for the most part) on your screen -

alextr
I agree - more blue (water colors)

websitedude,
What version of IE? I am using the latest (64 bit) and have no issues, also I ran compatibility test, and except for some funky css issues here and there, most other browsers rendered the site correctly.

Thanks for everyone's review! It really does help

Yeah, the logo looks a bit cheap and nasty.
But maybe you are stuck with it.

The default font size needs to be bigger IMO.
