I personally think that you should brighten the title just a little bit, it makes it a bit hard to read.

The way the text color and the background color is, doesn't make me want to read the post.

I think you should use "justify" in your posts too give them a better alignment.
And use "center" on all your videos and photos.

The menu it's too much simplistic in my opinion, and i don't like the floating too, it is indeed very much accessible that way, but imagine, if you don't use float, you can use the rest of the space, to add ads, statistics, links to other blogs, music, etc, and make the website more complete.

With respect, I think the background of the blog seems a good heavy, and home page design is not reasonable, and gives a cluttered feeling.

yeah I thought about that, but the blog, eventually, will mostly be made up of images, rather than text.

Justifying text on a 600px wide blog would be horrible and highly unreadable. Justifying text is fine on narrow columns, but on a big width, no no no.

I'll centering the vids doesn't look right to me. Everything else is aligned left.

The menu is simple for a reason, I don't want the blog overrun with unnecessary items like adverts, statistics, categories etc.

It's supposed to be dark, a little mysterious, slightly grungy...

so why is the homepage not reasonable? and how could it possibly be cluttered???? there's nothing on it!!!!!
