Hey guys,

I've had some great feedback on the site and implemented a lot of the suggestions. Can you now take a look at this AJAX tool we're adding on and let me know how to improve it?

http://www.carbuzz.co.uk/carchooser.aspx

N.B. Please ignore the incredibly rubbish ads, they're only tests for the server!

Thanks,

Hey,

Looks good! I like the rounded corners and the overall feel of the page. One improvement I would make is to the sliders when scrolling with multi-touch (mac trackpad). The min and max values change when scrolling up and down (with the mouse over the slidebar) but the cars that are displayed don't change. Also it is possible when doing this to have the min and max value the same. When they are the same you can not split them apart again.

Apart from that, looks good.

Mac OSX, Firefox 3.6.8

Thanks Mug!

Are you saying you reckon the cars should change as you drag the sliders? Where as at the moment you have to let the sliders go to see results?

As you click and drag on the min and max values of the slider the cars update but if you scroll (two fingers moving up or down on the mac track pad) while over the bar the cars don't change. Does that make sense?

Think we've solved any browser based slider issues. Would love to be proved wrong though!

Any other comments so far on how to make it better?

Like the site. Maybe would like to see the option to show more cars on the page. Something like a drop down box to show 20 Cars, 50 Cars. But not too many because it would slow down the loading of the page.

Thanks caves! Personally I think it would be better for users to be able to see more cars, but think it would be hard to make the design look good. After all, you need a large enough photo of the car to see what the design is like of it.

The sliders work much better now but the cars don't update when scrolling on the slide bar.

Hey Mug, what do you mean they don't update?

Is the number next to 'Search' updating when you move the slider?

Confused?!

The numbers change but the list of cars below the slider doesn't update.

Hmm that's odd, do they not change whatever filters you put on?

What browser are you using?

We've squashed it all down a bit, so the slider isn't so big. Thanks for the feedback guys!
