Well, in my opinion, it's good. However a few thigs do stick out at me:
Firstly:
What on earth is this site about?
OH! That little piece of info was tucked away in a corner. I think this should be a prominent part of your homepage. Or, at least,
more prominent--whether that's by increasing the text size of that section and using a bit of colour or moving it, perhaps under your delightful scroller thing (sorry I have no idea what it's called/what to call it, lack of sleep kills brain function dead), or something else entirely. Basically the user should know
right away what you or your site is about, not that I'm saying users are stupid they just want everything Right Now, y'know? I know I do.
Navigation (the top bar): I think this could use some colour, it blends in too well with everything around it when navigation needs to be more obvious to the regular user. No one here will have a problem seeing that it's your main navigation but the average Joe
might.
About Page: Feels empty after your other content pages and it
feels like the text should be on a white background. Maybe if you split the text across horizontally (instead of it all flowing down) it might feel more full? I don't know...
Same with the contact page too...
And one little thing: The search box. It seems like it should line up with the text in the logo but it doesn't (at least on Opera it doesn't--I haven't checked it in other browsers).
But, as I said, I do like the design (lovely grids) and I'm no expert so feel free to disregard everything I've suggested.
EDIT: I just re-read your post and it sounds like you're not finished with the website yet so please ignore my comments on your other pages, if I assume correctly they're not finished yet.
