Website Review and Suggestions

Just finishing off my band's website, which you can view here:

It's a simple 1 page affair, still got some Lorum Ipsum in there, but the design is pretty much finished.

I haven't checked it in IE yet... if anyone could let me know of any glaring problems that'd be great

Anyway, thoughts on layout, colours, structure etc would be great

Nice that, Ed.

A bit monochrome though isn't it? I'd suggest adding a little bit of colour. Just a dash here and there.

And the text is a little bit difficult to read, maybe add patches of white or lighter blue behind textual content?

i think it looks pretty good only thing i would do is put some advertisement on it so you can get some money off people viewing your site and i would also add more content to your site it doesn't look like theres more pages to your site besides the home page..

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd designed it a bit more like the cover and it seemed much deeper and more colourful, albiet darker. The singer said he wanted it blue for some reason....

Ok, so not enough colour, text difficult to read. I should be able to fix those! Provided I can convince our singer...

Well it's just a promotional page, somewhere to send people when they want to know about the band and the album. There's no need for any other pages, we've nothing to put on them yet!

I liked the design very much but your text was non-english so not very sure about content

you mean aside from the fact that it is in English, given that we are English, and English is our native tongue?

There's some Lorum Ipsum in there. It's placeholder text.

I like it a lot - Would just add a few more pages - a contact page, a "tours/events" page, maybe a blog with news about the band, maybe a way to buy your tracks/download album as well. Looks good, sounds good

We're purely a studio outfit, so no touring I'm afraid. We might add a blog later, right now we've nothing to blog about. This page is purely an online business card if you will.

Anyway, the site has changed now! Made it look a little more like the album cover, made the text white to make it more readable too!
