Website Review and Suggestions

After hours and hours I finally found "that" look i wanted...

i know, this site is not like gamespot or any other pro site... but i think it's not bad...
your opinion is really important for me, so please say what you think...

Hey,

Firstly I would like to say that I love the red bands holding the section titles. The general feel of the site is good, I would add a splash more colour though.

The "subscribe to" section breaks showing the grey background so I would sort that out. There are a few padding issues with the bottom section below the "older posts" button. Only a tiny little thing but the copyright notice at the bottom is masked by the toolbar.

Overall good work!

i am thinking about removing toolbar, but still it shows some useful stuff.
can you tell me what do you mean by splashing colors? where and how would you like it?

I meant that it is quite grey. If you have a look at your competitors they use a lot more colour. Maybe IGN's site is a little over the top at the moment in regards to colour but adding more colour and graphics makes for a more interesting viewing (in some cases).

I think you should use dark or sharp color for gaming site.

Please, get rid of the awful drop shadow on the body text. It not only looks bad, it makes the text look blurry.

text looks fine to me...
and how can i remove that "shadow"

I agree the black shadow does make it a bit blurry, if you're going to use text-shadow, try to match it to a shade or two darker than the background you're using it on.

I don't know about your backlink widgets, I suppose if you're attached to the service and must show them.

You've got a facebook fan page, and wibiya it seems handling your Social Media.

"Little Blogger" is in reference to the small amount of tools provided and used by Blogger the software you are using.

Pat on the back is an expression used to say "Give yourself some credit for good work".
