lol the purpose is just to see what happens and to go with the flow hoping something will come out of it... try registering and testing it out, I'll be making it all real-time sometime later today (or tomorrow).

Yo, what up, moforce?
Looks like a pretty cool little app. I don't care for the design though, I'd recommend adding more graphics to it. So, what is it? It looks kind of like an instant forum, haha.

Yeah, I definitely suck at graphic design... but it's not all that important.

It's kind of like a cross between IM (Instant Messaging) and a forum. It would be a lot easier to understand if we had a good number of people online at once (like 3+). All messages show up in realtime and you're also able to trace messages back to their origins (so long as the thread from the origin is still visible). The best way to think about it is to think of a person's lineage...

Origin -> Parent -> child -> grandchild

The origin is where brand new threads can form (the front page). Users can then reply to the parent to form children which directly relate to the topic of the parent. Likewise, users can reply to the child posts to form grandchildren which directly relate to the topic of the child, but not exactly to the parent.

I hope that makes sense... so anyway, I was thinking it would be cool to see the evolution of conversation. Like, how cool would it be to start a thread right now about basketball and many generations later it still continues except the main focus is now on politics. Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to trace back the lineage to see how/why changes in the topic occur? Would it somehow reveal previously unknown relationships (between basketball and politics in this case)

Mo...I really dig the concept and I think it has a lot of potential. You're going to need a lot of staff to moderate posts...because if the spammers get at it, and they will, it could ruin it overnight.

I would definitely implement moderation/reporting tools - like Reddit...let the members do it for you. Also, there was no login when I checked and most menu items were disabled.

Will keep an eye on it and once you have a fully cooked product, I may write a review about it on my site!

Looking at some of the top sites on the web, it looks like the color green was a bit lacking so I went with green =P

Thanks =D I'm definitely trying to figure out ways I can moderate the site. Because everything will be live, I'm not sure how well the Reddit type moderation/reporting will work (It would also be very resource intensive to track votes and reports at this stage). I've had a couple interesting suggestions for some basic auto-regulation that I'll implement. And you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about the need to moderate the posts. This definitely can spiral downward fast (or even "overnight") if spammers take over.

I'm actually in the process of reprogramming the core structure of the code so it runs smoother than it did before. As a result, I removed logins (for now) and am working on some of the menu features right now.

As of now, I've already got some fans that check the site daily and leave suggestions so I'm very grateful for that =D. I'm hoping that with their help, this can become a success. I definitely won't forget the early supporters

I made a few UX changes so I thought I might post an update asking ... is it any easier to use? One problem I'm facing right now is how to get users to visit and how to retain those visitors.
