Website Review and Suggestions

Hey everyone

I posted months back when my site was in its very early stages and asked for peoples opinions and suggestions , got some great feedback and made some improvements.

Since then traffic has gone up from no page views a month to well over 1000 unique visitors a month for the last 2 months

I am looking for some thoughts and opinions on the site , be as harsh or as nice as you like .

Also if anyone is interested in writing tutorials for the site then pm me cos i am willing to pay per article .

It's a nice clear simple site, well structured. Only problem I can see is that the sidebar (adverts) looks a bit empty.

Interesting color. Sidebar seems a bit empty and I don't like the shading in the footer (not done good since it's linear and the colors of background and the end of the gradient do not match). Another effect that could be done better is the reflection effect on your FB and Twitter icons in your sidebar.

check you facebook button, and you shall have something more on the right side bar

I would consider adding a news feed / comments feed to the right side bar to make use of the space. Other than that, you're not looking too bad.

yeah i was thinking that too , i was abit stuck , had all that whitespace down the side and didnt no what to do with it . i dont want to overcrowd it but at the same time at the moment there isnt much there .

Think im gona go with the news feed tho . And then hopefully get a few more 125 x 125 ads on the side .

I like your hornav css menu. Simple & very attractive. the other hand, your content & sub menu layout is inefficient. Too more idle space.

add more info on your footer and the sidebar first then we can decide how well is your site

Once More. make a footer menu for your special user (Login, Subscribe etc).

Only thing is it needs more content / images etc. on the right-hand side of the site.

The background needs to be fixed. It looks like an awkward spot in the logo area. Try to use a different effect so the colors change smoothly.
